1. Who can donate to the PAC? Only members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and their family can donate to the AKA 1908 PAC.
2. Who is considered a family member for PAC donations? “Family” includes a spouse, mother, father, son, and daughter if they live in the same household.
3. Will the PAC jeopardize the sorority’s 501(C)7 non-profit status? No, because the PAC is a separate entity.
4. Is any of my donation tax deductible? Campaign contributions are not tax deductible.
5. Who can receive a donation from the PAC? The PAC can donate to any federal candidate.
6. Will the PAC remain in place after the 2024 presidential election? Yes.
7. Who decides the distribution of campaign contributions from the PAC? The AKA 1908 PAC Board of Directors.
8. If I give to the AKA 1908 PAC; can I give to other PACs or campaigns? Yes.

Member Disclaimer: Contributions to the AKA1908 PAC are restricted to individuals who are members and/or staff of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® or its affiliated organizations, as well as their immediate family members to only included Spouse, Child (living in the home), Mother, and Father as defined by the Federal Election Commission (FEC). Only individuals within this restricted class may legally contribute to the PAC. Contributions from corporations, labor unions, federal contractors, foreign nationals, or other entities outside the restricted class are prohibited. Please ensure you are eligible to contribute before making a donation.
Note: Donations to AKA 1908 PAC™ are voluntary, and you have the right to refuse to make a contribution to AKA 1908 PAC™ or any federal candidate without reprisal. The recommended amounts are merely suggestions; you are free to contribute more or less than the recommendation, and the amount contributed will not benefit or disadvantage you. Contributions are for federal elections and are subject to the prohibitions and limitations of federal election law.
